By applying for a charity place with Alzheimer's Society in the 2026 TCS London Marathon you accept and agree to abide by the following terms: 

1. Alzheimer's Society has a limited number of places for the TCS London Marathon 2026, therefore no guarantees can be given that your application will be successful. We receive far more applications than we have available event places, so unfortunately not everyone who applies will be given a place. 

2. Your application will be reviewed by the Alzheimer's Society team and you may be contacted to discuss your application by email or phone.  We endeavor to inform you of the status of your application by the end of July.   

3. We reserve the right to refuse any application at our absolute discretion, without providing reasons for doing so. 

4. You must pay �100 registration fee within two weeks of being offered a place in the TCS London Marathon 2026. If we don't receive payment by this date we reserve the right to cancel your place and offer it to someone else.  

5. If your application is successful and you pay your registration fee (�100) within 2 weeks, we will ensure that your place is reserved for the TCS London Marathon 2026. Following this, you will be required to complete your registration on the entry registration system for TCS London Marathon. This will be sent over to you by email. After having received this link, you will have 4 weeks to complete this registration system and have received a donation on your fundraising page. If you do not complete both of these additional steps within 4 weeks of receiving the link, you will lose your place and not be entitled to a refund. 

6. On receipt of payment of the registration fee you will be sent an Alzheimer's Society fundraising pack.  The running team is here to help. We will provide advice and support to help you with your fundraising and to achieve your minimum target.  

7. The charity places in the TCS London Marathon 2026 require an investment from Alzheimer's Society therefore by applying for a charity place you agree to meet the minimum pledge of �2,500 (excluding registration fee and gift aid). 

8. All monies raised in connection with the TCS London Marathon 2026 must be paid to Alzheimer's Society within 6 weeks of the event date. If a deficit to the minimum sponsorship amount remains at this point you may be asked to pay the difference.  

9. If your application is successful you will also be required to sign up to, and comply with, the TCS London Marathon event rules and/or terms and conditions. Please note that Alzheimer's Society are not responsible for the organisation or management of the event and therefore we shall have no liability to you for any injury, damage or loss suffered by you when taking part in or in connection with the event.     

10. You have provided Alzheimer's Society with information about you and consent to Alzheimer's Society using this data. You understand that it will be necessary for us to share the data with the race organisers in order to participate in this event. For further information about how we collect and use personal data, please refer to our privacy policy.
