Event Terms & Conditions

1.	The Event is being promoted by Alzheimer's Society however, it is not being organised by Alzheimer's Society. Alzheimer's Society therefore accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of any injury, illness, death, loss (including loss of enjoyment or possessions), damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any descriptions whatsoever in respect of your participation in the Event.

2.	You must carry out your fundraising in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Alzheimer's Society fundraising pack, which will be sent out to you following confirmation of your registration. Where relevant, you must take all necessary steps to protect vulnerable people and other members of the public from unreasonable intrusions of privacy, unreasonably persistent approaches and undue pressure to donate, and provide us with such information as we request to monitor your compliance with this Condition. 

3.	Should you, for whatever reason, not take up your place, all sponsor forms and sponsor money collected must be forwarded to Alzheimer's Society or returned to sponsors if requested and if this is possible.

4.	You are confirming that, to the best of your knowledge, your general state of health is good and that you take full responsibility for yourself.

5.	You participate at your own risk. 

6.	You agree to follow all reasonable rules and instructions given by the event organiser, event management company and their authorised representatives. You also agree to follow all other applicable rules, instructions and regulations of the relevant sports governing bodies.

7.	You agree that Alzheimer's Society may use without payment, notice or further consent any photographs, videos and other images in which you appear which are taken at an event by the organiser or their suppliers, our employees or any participant or other person attending, in our brochure, website, social network marketing activities or any other relevant promotional material. Alzheimer's Society won't identify anyone by name unless you've identified yourself (for example by iron on letters on your race number) or we get your agreement. Should you prefer that Alzheimer's Society do not use any such images in which you may appear which are taken at the event in any promotional materials or if you do not wish to be the subject of any photography, please notify us by telephone on 0300 222 5808 or by emailing events@alzheimers.org.uk.
